Jim Corbett National Park offers you with the facilities of Jungle Safari. One can look for nature safari, to have bird watching and enjoying the precious nature. You can also have Jeep safari through the jungles of Corbett and if lucky enough can even spot some tigers. If adventurous further or to have some memorable moments, can take up an Elephant safari, really amazing experience.
The Dhikala Safari zone reopen from 15th of November every year, Durga Devi and Bijrani Zone from 15th of October where as Jhirna and Dhela remains open through the year The bijrani safari zones are famous for its grasslands and the elephant safari is conducted here. The safari is organized by the national sanctuary and they employ trained professionals to conduct the tour. The safaris are a great source of entertainment and they help us learn about the different animals and their habitats.
Thrilling Jeep Safaris with tourist groups, conducted by a trained guide are allowed in the park at fixed timings during the day. The open meadow, forested areas and the ruins lying in their most un-fashioned way can be seen inside the park. During the safari, you can catch a glimpse of the Royal Bengal Tiger in its rowdy avatar proudly marching in its territory. If you are a professional wildlife photographer or an avid wildlife enthusiast then you can also book private jeep safari to spot tigers in their natural habitat and observe their behaviour closely.
The Jim Corbett National Park houses a record-breaking number of 488 plants and around 580 bird species. Not just this, there about 25 reptile species and around 50 species of mammals inside the park. The star attraction of this park is the impressive population of Tigers that record ‘The World’s Largest Population of Tigers’ in Jim Corbett National Park. Here the visitors can book online jeep safari or canter safari to the five different zones of the park namely Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhikala, Dhela and Durgadevi.

Jeep Safari at Corbett is possible only in morning and evening time.
The morning time for Corbett jeep safari is from 6:30 am to 9:30 am and evening time is from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. However, there might be a few changes in the timings according to the weather condition and season.
Personal info including name, age, gender, etc. along with a govt. approved ID card has to be produced in front of the officials for having a jeep safari at Corbett.
Keep your ID card handy as it will be checked during the safari tour.
Jeep safari can be booked in advance which starts 45 days prior to your tour date.
The number of members going on a safari shouldn't exceed the limit as they'll be stopped at the gate and won't be allowed to go on the safari.
The visitors are responsible for their luggage in the safari and nobody should be held liable.
Once confirmed and booked, the booking fees of jeep safari is non-refundable and non-transferable
Visitors are required to obtain their entry permits online by producing their correct personal details and info.
The entry permit to Jim Corbett National Park is provisional and can be changed or cancelled without prior notice.
The order given by the Corbett Tiger Reserve Director should be final in this regard.
The entry ticket solely belongs to you and is non-transferable under any circumstances.
The only official registered guides are allowed to join you on your excursion so do not change your guide or naturalist.
The entry to the National Park is prohibited after sunset.
Day visit to Dhikala Zone is not allowed, except for the tourists staying in the forest lodges.
Getting down from the vehicle during jeep safari is not allowed.
Pets are not allowed inside the Corbett Tiger Reserve.
Tourists visiting the Jim Corbett National Park have to obtain permits from the concerned authorities. The travellers can issue the permits from the administration centre located at Ramnagar. A 03-day permit is given on the spot after the correct personal info along with a photocopy of the identity card is made available. The foreign nationals have to produce their passport along with its photocopy to get the permit.
There are four entry points of Corbett Tiger Reserve which are Jhirna, Bijrani, Dhikala and Durgadevi. The travellers need to obtain two separate permits one for the entry of Safari vehicles and the other for lodging at the forest. These two permits can be issued online. It is advised to book your safaris in advance i.e. 30 days prior to your actual arrival as only 75 vehicles at a time are allowed to enter inside the Jim Corbett National Park. Safaris can only be done in the specific zones. Once you have booked the safaris there is no provision for cancelling and rescheduling it. The number of vehicles to enter inside Jim Corbett National Park is limited to 30 safaris each for Bijrani and Jhirna zone. While only 15 safaris are permitted to enter Durgadevi zone of Jim Corbett National Park. Also, two 16 seater canter safaris are allowed in the Dhikala tourism zone.
